Fedor Emelianenko is back on U.S. soil. He helps kicks of the Strikeforce heavyweight Grand Prix this Saturday (Showtime 10 p.m. ET/PT).
Fedor, who had a 10-year unbeaten streak snapped last June, faces 6-foot-4, 265-pound Antonio Silva. The Russian is a heavy favorite to win the fight and a favorite to win the tournament. But the gap between the legendary fighter and the rest of the field isn't what it used to be. Yahoo! Sports' lead MMA writer Kevin Iole joined us to talk about Fedor in 2011.
