Andre Miller Upset With NBA Over His Suspension

Andre MillerWhen the Trail Blazers and the Clippers get together, you can throw out the records. Because it's going to be nothing short of an all-out war -- a battle for the basketball souls of all players involved, for all of eternity.

All right, not really. But based on the way that Sunday's game between the two clubs went, you'd think that there was a history there, or at least a legitimate reason that two below-.500 teams would care to engage in such a physical, chippy contest, loaded with flagrant fouls and cheap shots that resulted in players from both sides getting suspended.

The Blazers' Andre Miller was one of those players, and served his one-game suspension during Portland's Tuesday night win over the Suns. But Miller's suspension had more meaning than the others, as it ended his league-leading consecutive games played streak at 632. So, as you might imagine, he wasn't all that happy about it, and wasn't shy in sharing his feelings with reporters on Wednesday afternoon.
